Marsj (concert band)
Marsj (March) is heavily inspired by the many new musical experiences I had during the first few months of moving to Norway in 2009. I refer to the amazing experiences I have had with school bands, and the piece is dedicated to them and underlines the love I have grown for Norway.
Marsj is Norwegian folk music and should be played with joy and eagerness. It was written as a test piece for the Aalborg Music Competition in May 2010. This version was re-scored for concert band in February 2013.
