Intrada For Cornets & Timpani (brass band)

INTRADA FOR CORNETS & TIMPANI is a little opening piece written for brass band cornet section with timpani. It`s composed on August 16th 2002 and is one the earliest compositions for brass by Jacob Vilhelm Larsen who at the time studied trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark.

PERFORMANCE NOTE:

Cornets should be placed around the timpani with soprano to the left of the conductor. All mute markings a free and can be changed ad lib.
